Applications can be made easily and digitally through any of our partner banks: Danske Bank, Lunar, Nordea, Northmill, and SEB. Frequently asked questions about Fortnox shelf companies
A shelf company is a pre-registered limited company with no previous business history, which we keep on stock ready to be sold quickly. When choosing to start a new limited company, we help you form the business completely from scratch, meaning there is no pre-existing board of directors or company name.
Buying a shelf company means purchasing a pre-registered limited company with no prior history or business activity. Depending on the package you choose, you will receive your corporate identity number within one to two hours during regular office hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, closed for lunch 12:00–13:00 (summer hours: 08:00–16:00 during June, July, and August).
Next, you will need to open a bank account and deposit the share capital into your new business account. The bank will then issue a certificate of capital contribution, which you send to us.
Once all documents are signed and our invoice is paid, we submit the case to the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket). At this stage, you are fully authorized to operate the company using the general power of attorney that we provide, meaning you do not have to wait for Bolagsverket to finish processing your application.
As soon as Bolagsverket has completed the registration, we will send you a corporate binder containing all the essential documents for your fully registered company.

Delivery within 1–2 hours is available for orders made during business hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 (June–August: 08:00–16:00). If you place an order on a holiday or weekend, you will get your corporate number and documents within 1–2 hours (by 09:00–10:00) on the following business day.
All company documents are sent directly to the person who placed the order. If you want them delivered another way, simply state this in the 'Additional information' section at the end of the order form.
To complete the order, a bank account is required. The share capital must be deposited into this newly opened business account. Unfortunately, if you are unable to open a bank account, the order will have to be cancelled.
When you purchase a shelf company from us, you get an account where you can track the status of your case. You can also place new orders by logging in. This is also where you can view your ongoing orders.
